A product of the golden ‘70s era, Tower of Power is basically responsible for some of the grooviest tunes from the period. Originally known as The Motowns, they entertained fans with a myriad of fantastic sounds from funk, soul, R&B, jazz, you name it. The band belted out their first ever record, East Bay Grease, in 1970, but being in the trailblazers that they are, Tower of Power continues to drop new releases. Their latest album Step Up was released in 2020.
