If you didn’t already know, Jason Isbell has an immensely successful run that has spanned decades. Other than singing alongside The 400 Unit, he has been a member of Drive-By Truckers (2001 to 2007), and earned not one, not two, not three, but a whopping four Grammy awards. WOW!
Born in Green Hill, Alabama, the band’s lyrics are all about sobriety, culture and love. Their new album “Weathervanes,” for instance, explores the shadowy core of American culture from various perspectives, and incorporates elements of folk, rock and country.

Not only that but Jason Isbell also starred in the American sitcom “Squidbillies” and the feature-length movie of the influential Western series “Western Deadwood”.
