Thanks to the thrilling success of the Appaloosa Bones Tour, Gregory Alan Isakov will be extending his trek all the way to August. The folk-rock icon has already traversed the globe to promote his latest effort, basically selling out all of his shows. But thanks to insistent public demand, you have the opportunity to check out more of his exhilarating setlist this summer! Fans can look forward to numerous staples from the 2023 effort, including notable numbers such as “The Fall,” “Before the Sun,” and “Miles to Go.” Isakov’s latest work has been praised by critics and fans for its intensely compelling lyrics and brilliant hooks.

Aside from promoting his new work, Isakov is slated to belt out some older hits and crowd favorites. The Johanessburg-born artist has released several highly-acclaimed studio albums, including the much revered 2013 work, The Weatherman, which was praised for its “emotional ebb” and beguiling tracks. A prolific artist since 2003, Isakov has made Colorado his home and utilizes and finds inspiration from its landscape during songwriting and recording. For his work with The Weatherman, he spent his time in solitude on the outskirts of Nederland, Colorado. For his work with Appaloosa Bones, he wrote and recorded the album outside his farm in Boulder.

In addition to finding inspiration from his home, Isakov released a full album with the Colorado Symphony in 2016. His work brings a lot of prestige to his home state, so much so that he was awarded Best Male Songwriter by Colorado-based magazine Westword.

Unlike his setlist from already culminated shows, this summer’s repertoire brings new tunes.
